Hi, anybody know if it is possible to get a long neck towball to fit the Al-Ko AKS stabilisers without paying the extortionate Al-Ko price?

I have an alko 1300 stabaliser and use a normal tow ball with a 1" spacer - price £2.10 from towsure.  Never had a problem.

With the 2004 you MUST have the correct ball with the AlKo extended neck or damage will occur to the coupling and/or neck of the tow ball

I spent a while with a file helping someone with a new caravan (collected from Germany)  reduce the neck of a standard ball when on a rally in Brittany and unable to acquire the AlKo ball

It is not AlKo saying that you need their ball
You really do
