Hi,

I have been looking at camping tables and I am always bothered that the feel flimsy and not up to any reasonable wear and tear. I have seen this site...

Has anyone bought or have opinions on these?

I realise 2 possible problems, no adjustable legs and maybe the fine 'feet' may damage the ground sheet.

Are there any pads that can be attached?

Hi
If your looking for a reasonably strong table then the kampa hi-lo table is pretty solid and has adjustable legs. If you just want something to put under table legs then have a look at the kampa bigfoot

I have 3 aluminium roll top tables of various designs, and they are the oldest items in my gear list.

I like them because of their small packed volume.

Although the table in the link looks like a good solid table, I have concerns about how I could fit it in the car/trailer/roof box/etc. myself.

Keep Pringle lids to put under the feet of any camping furniture you feel may damage a groundsheet. Any excuse to eat a tube of pringles.

We use an aluminium roll top table as well. Very sturdy and the pack-away size is really quite small.

Got ours from Asda about 8 years ago for a tenner.

We use two of the Lafuma Tables Louisiana and California.

They both share the same Frame/Legs just that the California is the larger table top of the two.

We find them to by stable, and as each Leg is individually adjustable for height, you can quickly get the table level on any pitch.

Been using ours since 2008 and showing no signs of wear.

If one is not keen on munching Pringles, try plastic lids for pet food, 1.00 GBP for 3 at Wilkinsons.

the lids off coffee jars are ideal for putting under table legs - the jars are useful for putting candles in also
