Hi We need to replace our camping bed as it has started to go down through the night.

Very open minded in what we have I.e 2 singles 1 double air or metal

Most important thing is comfort we use it for our 2 weeks main holiday in France

Any suggestions .

We just got 3 double height self inflators from tesco only around 20 quid when the offers are on. Slept on one for a night . It was better than my mattress at home.

Hi,

We have an intex queensize raised air bed with built in pump. It is excellent, doesnt leak and you dont sink into it! Its a high quality air bed which also gives you a great night sleep. We got ours from Amazon for £30 last year think they are currently around that price still...

Personally, I do not like the unreliability of airbeds, and have switched to a single camp bed + SIM on top combination.

It is also more comfortable than airbeds, and the sleep quality is far superior.

We got 2 ThermaRest DreamTime XL's back in 2008 they have embedded fasteners so can be made into one Queen-size bed.

They do what it says on the tin, and have been sublime for our fortnight campings in the South of France during July.

I use a camp bed from Argos (when it was on special offer reduced to £18)with a 5cm self inflating mat on top (purchased from Lidl for £15). I've gone down this route because every airbed I've ever owned has deflated, even an expensive double height, multi chambered airbed.

I find the camp bed with SIM on top a very comfortable sleeping solution, more comfortable than an airbed.

we have tried lots of different beds but have now fixed on the thick 7.5mm thermarest with a mattress topper from john lewis. This is by far the comfiest and most reliable sleeping situation we have found!

Outwell Posada bed every time. It has totally transformed my camping experience. No horrible poles digging in your back. Great night's sleep guaranteed. I absolutely love mine. They come in single and doubles. Easy to set up in seconds and packs away just as easily in its bag x

We bought an Intex Queen Size/Double Height with built in pump from Aldi last year. Other half was scepitcal about how comfortable it would be (previously had a double height bed and it was awful) but we used it Easter weekend and we both slept like logs. Normally we wake around 6am as the bed is uncomfortable or deflated, but this time we were waking up at 8-8.30am!!!

No roll together, didn't need to reinflate and you can regulate the firmness to suit you.. very chuffed with it!
