I've got an Aldi version of it and find it comfy with a SIM on it. All camp beds are a bit hard and unforgiving without something soft under you.
One thing to note is the bar on each end can be a bit difficult to latch on and also sticks out quite far from either side of the bed. This makes them quite a lot wider than you would expect. Someone put a pic up of two in a sleeping pod once (3 man I think) and there as no space between the beds at all because of the bar either end.

Hiya peeps,
I too have an Aldi camp bed £17.99 a few years ago and can vouch for their comfort with a SIM. I have also tried a doubled up fleece under my sleeping bag and that also works a treat!
Sorry Pewacker for not being helpful on the Argos bed!

We have 2 campbeds similar to those. I bought a double sized foam mattress topper, cut it in half length-ways, re-stitched the raw edges & put elastic straps on the corners to hook over the beds & hold them in place. Warm & comfy.

i have 2 argos steel framed beds for me and the mrs. bought them last year and they are really strong, sturdy and comfy. I don't use a sim i just sleep straight on the bed (in a sleeping bag) and find it comfy, dont really feel the need for anything else. Now that they are on offer I will buy another 2 for the kids. the only down side is that they are quite heavy (if this matters to you) but otherwise I don't think you will get any better.

Bought it today, and with the sim on top very comfy. Well one more thing off the list!
