Hi,

The last time i went camping in the first weekend of March, one of the elastics for my tent poles snapped. I now need to repair this before next weekend. I'm unsure which tent elastic to get. My tent is cheap and cheerful, so it doesn't have a well known brand name.

I measured the diameter of the pole hole to be about 3mm.
Each set of poles is about 4.5m long.

So long do i require the elastic to be? And should i be looking for elastic with a diameter of 3mm or smaller?

Any help is much appreciated.

Elastics ! not sure what your are on about. is this it ?

The elastic that runs through the center of a tent pole.

Go to any camping store and they will stock shock cord/elastic or even buy online.

I've seen that there are plenty of elastic for tent poles on the internet but like i said in my original i'm unsure which to purchase and how long? I'm looking for advice on the elastic itself.

Its easy to sort just measure your broken shock cords diameter and length(upstretched) then buy enough to do your pole. if you need 250cm buy 300cm. Don't understand your problem
