anyone know where I can get orange guy ropes from ??  i need to go with tarp as the ones supplied were just bobbins.  I have tried fleabay and amazon but no luck.   i can see meself buying a new tent at this rate 17

Oztent RV3 guy ropes. they are Orange and very good quality with a fantastic locking mechanism. Not cheap tho.
