I am thinking of using the small oil filled radiator in the caravan overnight rather than having the gas fire on. What I want to know is if this will be ok, seeing that is for a house rather than a caravan
thanks
christina
Much safer than suing a gas fire overnight. Get one with an adjustable thermostat. Our Delonghi Bambino has 1-6 on thermostat and adjustable power setting upto 1.5kw which would be more than enough for a caravan overnight
Have you thought about heated mattress toppers instead. We have ones from Lidl that are adjustable and can be used left on or used in advance and switched off. Will keep you much warmer than trying to heat all the cold air in a van
Your not going to believe this but its more for my elderly dog than me he isnt very well and his coat is thin due to his illness and his basket will be near to the gas fire, plus I do want to leave it on seeing there have been incidents a few weeks ago, even though I have a carbonmonoxide alarm. Mine had an thermostat on it too but the wattage is 700.
My next door neighbours have a motorhome with at least 4-berths, and they take a small oil fill radiator with them over Easter with no reported issues.

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
another vote for the bambino, used them in some old vans, and only in the real extreme needed to use the gas heater, was down to about -10 at the time though.

And another! They are the bees knees, and really effective.
