Hello good people,
We have a great little abbey Iona,we want to buy a small porch awning for quick weekends away,
The slight problem being my roof slope on my Iona,
The hight at the rear,(the door end is ok) at 245 but half way down the caravan it would be under 230,
Most porch awnings hight are between 235 -- 255,
I'm just wondering if I would get away without alterations,
Would I have to raise the caravan on blocks,
There must be lots of caravan owners who have solved this problem out there,
Would be very greatful to hear how you got around it.
Thanks,Fred.

Our relative has a freedom sunseeker which is tiny and also slopes at one end, she uses a suncamp swift porch awning for weekends and we just adapt it as we go with regard to pegging it out, at the end of the day most pitches arent level anyway   To make it sturdier at the back we put 2 adjustable rear poles with pipe lagging over to protect the van, we then clip the loose material to the poles and to stregnthen even more we just attach a bungee chord to each pole and attach to the grab handles. Not perfect I admit but it certainly does the job for her and cheap enough if it didnt work

Hi
We also have an Abbey Iona, how did you get on with the kampa Rally 200? Did you get a reasonable set up, considering the slope in the awning rail?
