In the Bessacarr motorhome we hired last weekend, there was a sink but no drainer, which initially I thought was going to be a problem, but after fishing around in the cupboards, I found a flat (ridged) plastic draining board that rested on the side of the sink and allowed the water to drain back into the sink.  The motorhome we are looking at buying has no draining board either, but it does have a round sink like the bessacarr one we hired.  Is this draining board something that can be obtained somewhere relatively easily or is it only speciffic to Bessacarr motorhomes?  It was really useful and I'd love to get one.  Have had a look in the on-line Towsure catalog but can't find it in there, and had a look today at a camping shop, but they didn't have it either.  Anyone shed any light on this or know how much they might be?

Many thanks

Sara

I`m sure you can buy these draining boards in hardware shops....they were made to use with the old stone sinks and as these are now very trendy, I`d be amazed if you can`t get the drainers.

My first thought was Lakeland Plastics....there isn`t a pix, but I bet this is it...

....and my second thought was Ebay....this one is rubber, but might do.

Hi

The reomveable draining boards are available from Bettaware or Kleeneze (Bettaware I think).  They are £4.99 each - not a bad price for such an ingenious invention.

Hope this helps

Jackie

Thanks everyone - just had a look at the one in the Bettaware range and that would do fine - not the exact one as it's not geared to a round sink like the one was in the van we hired, but it would do and is cheap enough   Guess I could always phone the place I hired the motorhome from and ask them where they got it.

Thanks again

Sara

Our Sterling van has a round sink and one of these drainers. Do you have a Sterling dealership in your area? They'll possibly sell them in their accessories shop.

The parts dept should be able to get you one at any Swift dealer

It usually takes 2 weeks for spares to come through
