Hi all, we have a Gelert 4 pole windbreak which got totally destroyed in a wind with the poles bent almost in half. We thought get replacement ones from Gelert , wrong they don't do them you have to buy a new complete windbreak.
As the last set of poles bent in the wind I was thinking of replacing them with wooden poles, but again I don't seem to be able to find any as the material is 145cm the standard wooden pole isn't long enough.
Hi Paul, yea we also have the good old stripey ones, but her who has to be obeyed wanted one of these posh one's to match the tent, said wouldn't work and I was right, glad found someone who agrees,,
The problem with windbreaks is when it gets windy, they can, well...break. The tent ones I've had blow down, as the poles aren't usually that far in the ground, but the wooden poles I've had snap. Whatever the type, if it's really windy, be safe and drop them.

My advice is worth no more than the price paid for it
