hi folks

was looking for a suitable caravan cleaner for the exterior of our van. it's been in storage over winter but is covered in a light black staining streaks not sure if it's come from the awning alloy rails or the window rubber seals, tried all kinds of household cleaners but nothing shifting it, can you help?

I used Stardrops and that shifted most dirt and streaks. The really stubborn stains (typically on the textured plastic of the battery door etc.) came off with some Autoglym tar remover. I then polished the lot with Autoglym polish.

I have a folding camper hence only have to do clean up to the equivalent of half way on a caravan

I would not use house hold products on your van as some might be too strong or scratch the paint a lot of people use Fenwicks caravan cleaner as do myself this is what its meant for..

Forgot to mention use Armoral on the rubbers this will clean and nourish the rubber as well as stopping black streaks..

I always use Silky.

I find it very easy to remove grime with it and it lasts for ages. Still on my first tub.
