Mine now, Floppers!!
Pic 1 was our camping debut last July, at Bank House Farm, Hulme End, in The Peaks. Pic 3 is at Beech Croft, Nr Buxton, and both pics 2 & 4 are at Conifer Lakes, in East Yorks.
Three different sites, but all get 10/10 from me. Have returned to each, and will continue to do so! :-)
Pics from foreign climes will have to wait until I make my debut this coming September, as Conifer Lake is the furthest we have ventured so far, with a tent!!
As for that bright light shining on us, I believe there is a well known saying about the sun shining on a certain type of folk..... well, that's us!!!

For my last trip at Fforest Fields in May 2013, I managed to put my 3.75m x 3.75m polycotton tarp up over the front of my tent, thanks to the likes of JimCall, Mucker et al with their set ups and instructions.
I can have a BBQ under the tarp even if it rains. When it is sunny, I can sit under it without having to dodge the sun.
This will be my nicer weather set up.
I shan't use the tarp or windbreak for winter camping as it is unlikely I would sit outside for long, and the integral porch in the front is sufficiently large for cooking/sitting in my camping chair, and be protected from the elements.
