My parents have just bought this whistling kettle from world of camping. It fills through the spout but they are very pleased with it for the price of £2.99. Delivery is £4.99 so would be a good deal if bought with other items.

I,ve been looking to replace our old camping kettle (it,s 30 years old and looking battered) this looks smart and is a brilliant price. Is it as good as it looks in the picture?

It looks really nice, the handle gives away that it could be cheaper but only on very close inspection.

Ooh, that is my kettle lol. I certainly didn't get it at that price!

Had it a few years now and still love it as much as I did when I bought it. It does not look or feel cheap at all. Filling through the spout has never been an issue for me and no spills. The handle doesn't get hot and it boils lovely and quickly :)

Not Splutters

Just a good ol' fashioned high pitched "Tea's up!" kind of whistle

Got a new one with black plastic spout advertised as a 'whistling kettle' recently - tried it last week and guess what?

It Gurgled and it Spluttered and man alive it couldnt whistle for a chewy sweet

If this one whistles I'm having it!

This one whistles and no gurgling or spluttering lol!

Only just packed up on Sunday and I'm having withdrawals already. Still, I shall be listening to it's chirpy tones again in the morning as we're all set to leave first thing for five days of whistling :)

My in-laws have that kettle.

I think it doesn't 'whistle' as such, but more blows through a reed like on a woodwind instrument.

Still sound good though....
