I don't want to spend my time on site setting up/striking camp. I want to go there, put the kettle on and relax.
One of the things I like about my FC is that is makes camping so easy. Stick the trailer on the hitch and go away. Get there, open it up and suddenly - *pow* Insta-Camp!
The fun for me isn't about building a home away from home or 'grr, me man, me make furniture from sticks and poo!'. It's about traveling and exploring and wind in my hair and new and interesting places and ...well, I am sure you get the idea.
The camp trailer is a tool to enable that, not a camping exercise in it's own right. I want it as easy to use as possible, because the easier it is to use the more I will use it and the more camping I will get done.

Yeah, I could hack one up and sew flaps and velcro to it. And I am not above entertaining it as an option.
If, however, the correct tool exists on Amazon/ebay and all I need to do to get it is click 'post me one of these please' then I'm happy to just buy it (assuming it isn't too expensive, obviously. Then I probably will make one. But at least I will have pics to use as a design brief!)
