just a comment about our experience shopping online with this company.

We ordered a Kampa kitchen unit online last Sunday night. Next day delivery was promised - so we expected delivery on Tuesday - allowing for the order to be processed on Monday.
On Monday we got an email saying they were out of stock and would send out asap. I replied saying unit needed by Friday as going away at the weekend.
Got an email Tuesday saying it had been despatched and would arrive by Interlink courier on Wednesday.
On Wednesday Interlink turned up after 5pm with one parcel- a flask we had also ordered. The second parcel was not on board, driver hoped it would turn up next day.
It didn't.
I rang on Thursday Interlink asked OMS to raise a parcel search. I rang OMS. They failed to ring me back with a message as promised.
On Friday I rang OMS. They rang Interlink; can't find the parcel. OMS said they would send another with guaranteed next day delivery by noon from City Link.
Saturday 11.40 - nothing arrived. I rang OMS. They rang City Link; driver had locked himself out of the van but the parcel would definitely be with us later.
Now Sat 4.15pm. No parcel. All offices closed for BH weekend and we are going camping without £80 worth of kit that we paid for a week ago.
A very unsatisfactory customer experience.

Oh dear sounds as if OMS tried their best and let down by couriers. If a deadline is so critical then the good old fashioned way of shopping may have been better solution if time permitted.

Unfortunately things do sometimes go wrong with Internet shopping. It sounds like you have been really unfortunate and the shop has tried their hardest to correct the problem.

Nonsense.

They used a *beep* courier. There is a difference.

I think interlink are one of the ones whose business model seems to be 'inconvenience the recipient as much as possible until they pay for premium delivery'.

There are a lot of courier companies out there who arn't very good at delivering things.

My opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it.

I've used interlink in the past and they have been okay. All couriers (and I mean all) have the ability to lose parcels and deliver items late. Some are certainly better than others..... The only reliable courier I found is UPS but you can pay a premium for the service.

well yes OMS seem to have tried their best but to be let down in the same week by two couriers trying to deliver the same thing is very unfortunate!!

And yes perhaps better to have shopped the old fashioned way would be preferable but our location means there simply wasn't the choice...we were lured by their promises of next day delivery that they repeat all over the website!
