yup, we have one...the poles in ours seemed slightly too long, so we felt they were under a bit of un-necessary stress to start off with, but we persevered with it and managed to get it set up as per the instructions...however even tho we didn't load it up with anything heavy (we just kept a few items of clothes in ours) we were very surprised when we returned to the tent one day to find it in a heap after both poles had snapped at the metal connectors and torn thru the pole sleeves...

the poles are easy enough to replace tho (i shall eventually replace them with poles that are slightly shorter than the original ones supplied with it), but we've gone for more sturdy storage options since then...i was thinking of keeping the Vango organiser to use in our smaller stop over tent as it's a nice low level storage option...

we also went with more upright "cupboard" storage as the Vango organiser does take up a lot of floor space, so that's also something to take into account...you could fit three upright 4 shelf cupboards into the footprint taken up by the organiser...the organiser is definitely quirky tho and a bit unusual which is why we bought it in the first place...we'll find a use for it eventually...

Bumping this thread up. I've had my eye on one of these for a while. It would be great for all the random little things kids like to take camping, crayons, books, balls, spare knickers etc... But I didn't buy one due to several bad reviews like Moonstone's above. Then I couldn't find one anywhere. However a few places are stocking them as 'new for this season'. Does this mean they have been redesigned? Is it worth taking the plunge and spending princely sum of £22.99?

Don't waste your money, forgot I had posted about it. Pole snapped after first use as it is such a tight fit. Brilliant idea but quality is poor.

…same here - recently bought and took to two festivals this year, nothing much on shelves (undies & T-shirts) and both poles broke - Great idea - small & light when packed and reasonable size when up, just needs better, possibly shorter poles - pah!

Hi - New to this forum but thought I would put up a post as I have read a few reviews here and thought I should do my bit and do a few reviews myself.

Sorry to bring up an oldie but I just used one of these for a week in Exmoor. Absolutely useless. Its a complete swine to assemble as the poles need a fair bit of pressure to get them into the holders and its a might fine call between just enough and too much so they snap. I did it three times without a hitch (well done me) but a few days into the camping one of the poles snapped while the unit was up - over subsequent days more and more poles failed and when we disassembled it almost all the poles were showing signs of problems and even the metal couplers were bent. I was super careful assembling it and it was never heavily loaded carrying only some t-shorts, socks, small knick knacks etc.

I see this post is quite old so some people may think its been revised as a product - its still bad. Mine will go back for a refund.

Its such a shame as its such a good idea and for lightweight campers like me who like lightweight gear and not too much of it this would be a blessing if they could get it to work properly.
