I've just bought Gelert stove on ebay and have a Calor Gas Propane bottle. Obviously I need a regulator and a tube, but wanted to check if there was anything else I needed?

I'd hate for it to all arrive and find I was missing something without the time to order it before we go away.

You need to be able to secure the hose onto nozzle and reulator - usually done with little jubilee clips. Depending on your regulator you might need a little spanner to get a tight enough fit (brass to brass fittings)

If the stove's new, I can't think of anything else. If second hand, then there could be a screw on connector missing, but I doubt it. The reason I mention this is because on our stove, we unscrew the pipe connector as it's almost impossible to pull the pipe off each time.
I would guess you will be ok though.

You also need jubilee clips for each end of tube. To get tube onto stove & regulator dip tube ends in boiling water.

not saying you need these but can be very useful,saves you having to undo the regulator from the cylinder.

This is fine, as long as you haven't bought your gas bottle yet. If you have just have a quick check what reg it needs

Change your hose every year, regulator every 3 years

Either of these clips are better than jubilee clips, they don't distort the hose
