We did the first test erection of our new Croyde 6 tent this afternoon. Putting up the tent went pretty well, but even after reading the instructions and all the relevant threads on here, we gave up on the vestibule after fighting with it for about two hours. There is simply no way (as supplied) to get the top to stay on and the front hoop to stay taut. I think the solution people have posted about using a pole clip with a guy line attached seems the only way forward. However, I have scoured the Internet and can't find where I could get hold of such a clip. Does anybody know where I can get one, or have any better solutions? Otherwise, the vestibule is staying in its bag or going on EBay...
Thanks
Simon.

Hi
Never had a problem with ours staying on the problem we found was when the front middle guy isnt used the front canopy roof goes saggy. If you are having problems keeping the vestibule on you may need 3 on the front pole, 1 in the middle with a guyline attached and 1 either side of that The 25mm tent pole clips can be obtained from
www.tentspares.co.uk.
Hope this helps

I never tried putting ours on - I wish I had now as I'm a bit worried it won't attach. If anyone comes across an easy-to-use method I'd be very pleased to see it!
