Hi, I'm just starting camping again after a few years out. I still have my metal thread pegs which I intend to use with whichever tent I go for. The thing is, the battery drill I used to use has given up the ghost so I was going to try buying a cordless screwdriver. Do you think it will have the power to drive the pegs in ? It is currently on offer in B&Q for £25 it's a Bosch IXO IV.

Any thoughts ?

No chance     you will need a drill of at least 12volts or more if you can afford it.

That was my concern, my old drill was an 18v thing so will just go for the same again, not that fussed as I was only thinking of saving space.

Ryobi cordless driver from B&Q £22 . I was dubious as to how good it would be. being only 4v but I've been amazed .

I would say you need 18v min. I have a Ryobi 18v drill and its superb.
