Just bought Aldi " Adventuridge Dual Burner with Grill". I need to buy connector and gas. Any advice re where to purchase, what to ask for and how much it is likely to cost? I live in East Kilbride, near Glasgow.

Probably best to decide first which gas you will be using with it, as this will determine the type of regulator you will need (in conjunction with about a metre of hose and jubilee clips at each end).

Campingaz butane (R901/904/907) Widely available UK and Continent, largest cylinder (907) more compact than the smallest Calor (or FloGas) cylinder.

Calor (or FloGas) butane, smallest size 4.5kg, unavailable on the Continent, much cheaper kg for kg than Campingaz.

Calor (or FloGas) propane, smallest 3.9kg, otherwise as above but better cold weather performance (below about 5 degrees C).

Your first purchase of any of the above will include a charge for the cylinder (around £30, I think) but you may be able to source one elsewhere cheaply or possibly free, to "trade in", paying just for the gas.
