We have a couple of the tall hi gear storage units, but have now bought a 2 ring gas cooker with large gas bottle. We have a Montana 6p with front awning, haven't used the awning yet but will be cooking out there, has anyone got the Kampa Commander Field Kitchen?? If so whats it like. I figured with that we could get rid of one storage unit and also the cooker stand.
We had the Royal version that we used with the tent for many years and found it to be very good.

and five nights in the one man tent!
I have the Kampa kitchen and really like it. The cupboard is roomy with sturdy shelves, a large wire shelf and lots of surface space.
The drawbacks are, tiny hooks to hook the cupboard too, one of the zips is dodgy and can only be zipped one way, tea towel rail is not in a useful place, bin is too small to be useable and when putting up and down be careful of your fingers!
I realise the drawbacks seem extensive but they are to us minor things and the benefits outway the bad. We bought ours from Peak Outdoors and it came with a free windshield which is really handy.
