The easiest I've used was My Hermes. Pay on line and then they pick up from your address,or easier,from one of their agents (local Spar shops etc). Price seems reasonable too.

www. interparcel.com used them for a couple of years, gives you loads of options.... very good :-)

Have to agree with MyHermes for under 15kg, although size limits do also apply, pay on their website and either have it collected or take it to their parcel shop which down here is the Co-Op and its open 6am to 10pm so no days off work waiting for items to be collected. Otherwise ParcelMonkey is excellent value for next day delivery. I personally would avoid Yodel the service I had from them was
