Hi,

We're having a difficult time chooing camping chairs. My girls have chosen the sunncamp inflatables (that was easy!) but me n hubby can't decide.

Hubby keeps saying we need something really (emphasising the really) comfortable... so no "cheap" fold up chair will do.

I saw some zero gravity recliners.... I've also seen the Royal Commander Chairs and the Quest Elite (I think it is).. Looking through the tent photo's on here, all of the above are what people use...

So what is your opinion... are we better off with the garden recliner, which no doubt takes up more room (when travelling) or something like the Royal/Elite??

We have the Quest Elite Red Admiral chairs. They are very light and very comfortable. They recline too!

The only downside is that they are quite big when packed so make sure you have the room to fit them in. However they are probably smaller than garden chairs.

I have recently bought the Quest Elite Ascot which has 7 recline positions and is very comfortable.

We bought the Low Elips high back chairs direct from Lafuma. £70 for two delivered, and are the best camping chairs we've had. I like the low height, as it's easy to s t r e t c h out with the back fully reclined without a footstool, and is more stable on uneven ground. Plus it's light, and the alu frame won't rust.

If you eat at a table you will need the table to have shorter or adjustable legs, though, and they are a little bulky when folded.
