Hi everyone, l am looking for a carpet that would fit my Nevada M tent. I dont want to pay silly prices as l have seen the bad quality of the 2012 carpet, and was wondering if there was another option to use. I was thinking on something like a universal carpet, where l could cut to suit. Im new to camping, so need some good advice please. Thank you

Hi All, I'm looking at buying the 2012 model Nevada M too (Mocha version) but can't seem to find the matching carpet. I can find the Nevada MP 2013 carpet, but not sure if this will fit? Or, as per normski19's question - is there a good universal carpet that would work?

Thanking you in advance

F

Have a look at the internal dimensions and spend many hours googling. We bought a second hand yukon river 4 and I eventually found a carpet that was 2-3 inches too big but works fine.

hope that helps.

Hi.

We used to use a Hi Gear Mojave 5 carpet which was an almost perfect fit.

It was a couple of years ago though so not sure if the dimensions have changed....

I know they get slated a lot but it was recommended as a cheaper alternative by someone at Go who even laid it out in the Nevada for us so we could see.

Might be worth asking.

Thanks Wh1tesox, I had considered that one because the sizes were pretty similar. Plus it has really good reviews :) - and I like reviews lol, Also, a saving of nearly £30 isn't to be sniffed at - it can pay for my halogen heater lol

Hi , I may be able to help you as I will be posting on the accessories advert section in the next couple of days. I will be selling top grade dirt barrier mats, in different sizes and colours and at a fraction of the price of conventional tent carpet. The mats have a rubberised non slip bottom with a carpet finish on the top. Lightweight and easy to handle they are easy to cut down to fit any shape or size of tent and provide an excellent dirt barrier for tents and awnings alike, especially with the ground getting a lot wetter now you can keep the dirt on the mat and not throughout the tent/caravan.

After each trip they can be easily jet washed down and stored for your next camping experience . Please keep a lookout for CAMPSMART dirt barrier mats
