Hi,Anyone replaced a element in a fixed fridge,its a Dometic fridge,fitted in a Luner Lexon,i am being told you can do it by removing the outside grills but i cant see how,also quite expesive,any suggestions were the cheapest place is to buy.

I have changed the element in a electolux fridge through the vent. However I don't recommend it!! You really need to get the fridge out to do it properly. I couldn't get ours out but I could tilt in forward enough to get to the conector block where the element wires conect to the mains supply. To change the element I removed the vents and the vent housings to gain access basically I changed it by touch. It did work after that but if I were you I would get a dometic engineer to do it properly
