i am a first time camper and thought we would do it bendouin tent stylie and bought one of these sofas off ebay , as well as an inflatable chair and pouffe from ikea. the sofa is pretty easy to inflate but the ikea 'furniture' has lots of individual polythene bags to inflate and fit inside a denim cover..........kinda like the krypton factor..........(giving away my age now) we will probably put the tent up quicker.
Going away for a test run this coming weekend, and have booked EHU of course
We have an Air-O-Space sofa. They come with an electric pump and inflate and deflate very quickly indeed. They are as tough as old boots and versatile - we like to flip the base part out and then it's like a sofa and footstool combined. They pack down to about the size of a tall double airbed and are quite heavy, but have their own holdall and are not a problem to pack down or fit back in the bag. Only thing I would mention is that it is an idea to put a throw or fleecy blanket over them, just because vinyl is not the most comfortable surface to sit on, but that is personal choice. Not a thing I would take for a weekend, but can be useful for a longer stay and more comfy than a camping chair. You've got one at a good price, by the way.
I've just bought one from netto, £19.49 for a double flock one with electric pump, looked ok in the box will let you know what it's like post first use! I think the offer is only on until 31 Aug 08.
