Hi I'm looking at single raised airbeds as we are going away next weekend and my son has broken his collar bone so there is no way he will be able to get up or down from his normal airbed
Can anyone recommend a single raised airbed for under £50 that is still firm when sat on

we have used coleman ones, but the latter double has only just gone and split on us 1 week from going away son we have had to get a new one. just got an asda one for now but we are looking at the kind like this -
Heavy Duty Light Folding Single Camping Bed--being a metal frame and off the ground is more suitable for our daughter and grandson, they fold down quite compact. you could go for a single intex one (google them) as they have a built in pump. gary
Reviews on this one are good Intex plush airbed There's a few different models here Any way you can get your lad somewhere to a large camping shop to try out options ? A camp bed and sim would have been my first go to.. for firmness. Best of luck anyway, poor lad.

I have nothing but praise for Intex after using the queen size for the last 4 years and have just bought a new one. Soooooo comfy and the queen size easily holds hubby, me and dog with a combined weight of approx 35st.
I have the Intex 2in1 (as on hik01's link above) Good size single - about 39 inches I think. Very comfortable - just be sure that if you blow it up on a hot day, you put some more air in at bedtime as the air will contract when it gets cooler and it will be harder for your son to get off if it is softer. I was so impressed with the single my daughter had that I bought a queen size for our awning annexe. It has been invaluable in this hot weather as we sleep in the awning - much cooler than in the caravan!
