....my question is how long will a CV270 last? we are going away for 3day 2 night and how many canisters do u think we should take there will be 4 of us (2 adult,1 under 2 and a 11yr)

i would take the 4.5 bottle but SPACE IT LIMITED

your stove = Consumption: 150 g/h + 150 g/h + 80 g/h
so each of the rings will use 150 grams per hour. the grill 80 grams per hour
the weight of gas inside will be on the gas canister (230g)

so easy to work out how much it uses
but as for your question noone can answer that for you, will depend on how much you use it ie tea and toast for breakfast will use a heck of a lot less than a full fry up with 2 rounds of toast each etc
so your going to have to think about what your going to be cooking and take a guess :p

It's a bit difficult to give an exact answer as it depends on your personal consumption. As a rough guide the CV270 has 230g gas.

As a very rough estimate:
R907 bottle contains 2.75kg gas = 2750g
Runtime on R907 = 8 hours = 480 mins (info from Campingaz website)
= 1g last for 0.1745

CV270 contains 230g gas
230 x 0.1745 = 40.25 mins (I'm assuming this is with 2 burners going)

So in theory you should get 40mins if my maths is right which I'm assuming is for the 2 burners operating on full based on the Campingaz website info...?

If space is an issue what about the Campingaz Bistro Stove will take up less room....?

CV270 mass: 375g. Canister mass: 145g

Total Mass = 375g (gas + cannister)
Can Mass. = 145g
Difference is the weight of the gas = 230g

Checking the Campingaz website the consumption rates are listed as follows:

Gas outflow:
Stove = 2x 170g hour (170g x 2 rings = 340g an hour if both on)
Grill = 80g hour
