Managed to pick mine up for 79.99 GBP in Oct 2011 at a local independent camping equipment retailer, and it has been my stove of choice ever since, and works in winter too.

I have only used Coleman Fuel or Primus PowerFuel with mine.
I use both burners a lot while on a camping trip if I am not BBQing in the evenings.
A litre of Coleman Fuel will last at least 2 x 5-night trips for me, however, I cook a lot using my stove.

I'll 3rd the Coleman, we use Aspen Fuel with ours and hard to say with detail how much we get out of it as we've never thought about it but it is efficient.
This time, for the first time, we left our dual camping stove at home and took 2 suitcase stoves instead - it's the future! Only used 2 canisters of gas all week and no bulky calor gas bottle to pack.

Are the likes of these any good? 2 burner stove
You'll need to run it off a gas cylinder, not an issue if you have room in your car for it.

Not sure what type of gas you use with the dual camping stove, however, it should be noted that butane gas, whether in low pressure bottles or high pressure canisters that power suitcase stoves do not work at low temperatures.

I'm the 4th vote for the Coleman Dual Fuel 2-burner stove.
Can't recommend it enough - I bought one for a friend around 10 years ago and he's still using it.
I bought mine second hand from someone on here about 5 years ago and it's still going strong.
If it breaks I certainly won't be looking for cheaper alternative like I do with many other bits of kit - it'll be another coleman for me.
edit - we just run it on normal unleaded and it lasts ages, I've never had to top it up over a long weekend. If your away for a week or more you may have to top it up I'm not sure as since we've had the kids we've only done long weekends.
I have Coleman dual fuel in my shed given to me by a friend it has never burnt properly on the second burner.
I have a 30 year old camping gaz two ring and grill that is still going strong. I did mess about with the Coleman and managed to et it sort of running ok, by changing the pump valve for a shader valve so it could be pressurised from a bike pump. But to be honest I couldn't be bothered with all the pumping it up, it does burn hotter thn the gas one but not enough for all the hassle IMHO
