I'm looking for a tent carpet for my sunncamp vario and can't find one on the web does anyone know of any alternatives, we have been looking for a couple of days and been trying to match up other similar sized tents but I'm running out of patience lol, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi, i have seen people recommend picnic blankets for use of tent carpets

Thanks we tried that but the dogs whiz zing around the tent sent them spinning off and was wondering if the carpets would be better

We use some heavy cotton rugs from ikea..cheap cheerful and washable..they do scrunch up a bit with dogs though

I put down my Regatta carpet and to my horror it had lots of WHITE in it ,what lunatic puts white in a tent carpet?.I had to put out picnic rugs to protect the carpet.Watch out though,I had a nasty accident as they slip and do not hold onto the carpet so please do not do what I did.Next time i'm on picnic rugs only

I was thinking of somehow using Velcro and double sided tape but I'm not sure if that's going to be more hassle than it sounds or if it would even work but it was a lot nicer having something down rather than just the ground sheet

Hi Gear Voyager 6 carpet should be quite a good match size wise, 300cm x 420cm, half price at Go Outdoors at the moment (£40!)

We had a Sunncamp Vario 6 for years and they do have a brilliant large living area, don't they?

Does your tent have a SIG? Ours didn't as it was an old model, and that was one of the reasons we decided to buy a new tent.

It was lovely to be able to have a soft carpet to walk on, sheer luxury!

Yes Jane it has the sig which was good as our three dogs are only tiny it meant they couldn't get out and thanks for that it was so confusing looking for a tent carpet

Check the Kampa easy tread range...250cm wide and lengths go up in 50cm stages to 800cm .might be one to suit your vario.

I've not checked the size but the Sunncamp invader 600 looks pretty similar.
