Thought bargain hunters might be interested to know that Winfields have the Vango Como camp kitchen for £50. We took the plunge and bought one as have never been convinced by the rocky concertina style stands (disaster waiting to happen with young kids around), and have got fed up using the table to do everything on!
My impromptu review so far:
Seems very stable - but none of the legs are adjustable, so imagine will need to look for small stones when camping.
Middle stove section comes with a wind break for the stove, a small lower table with fabric cupboard underneath is on one side, and small ledge/table top on the other side. Both sides bits can be folded down so you could easily use it as a single sized unit, and it might be easier to move outside the tent without the extra cupboard. Or without the fabric cupboard attached you could just leave it outside.
The cupboard attaches with velcro straps and smallish metal hooks - I imagine it is not suitable for storing vast weights, but seems more than adequate for camping.
The "storage pockets" on the side of the cupboard are a little small to be really useful, but would keep a small roll of bin bags, and essentials like corkscrew easily reachable!
Hope this helps someone else take the plunge.
