I have a Minnesota 4 and am looking to buy a carpet for it why I didn't get one when I bought the tent in 2009 is beyond me.

Does anyone know of where I can get one or any other model tents which shares its footprint/carpet with the Minnesota 4?

Cheers
Chris

I've got a Yukon river 4 which is the polycotton version of this tent, after scouring the net I found a second hand Michigan 8 carpet which fits width wise but is about 3 inches too long.

Outlet camping might be worth a look too.

Thanks Shd76 I will look into that.

The mesurements I have for the living area are 2800mm wide x 2300mm long. I have been offered a missouri river 3 carpet from a shop but its 2450mm x 2200mm which is a little bit shorter than id like. Any one else have any other ideas?

The Michigan 8 living area is 2800 x 2650 as the tent is vis a vis it has two notches to go around the bedroom pods the carpet needs levelling or folding about 2- 3 inches to make it fit. There's also an older kampa carpet which fits with brown and cream pattern in a sort of slashed check not sure which tent its off though.

I also looking at altering a carpet to fit, the niagra falls front room carpet would cut down if you know someone handy with a sewing machine.

So I've done a little more digging around and apparently the Wyoming 4 is the same as the Minnesota 4 without the rain door. So have just bought a Wyoming 4 carpet new for £35. Will let you know how I get on. If anyone else is interested it was from outdoor value on eBay but they have a website to.

So I've had the tent up today to air it out and tried the Wyoming 4 carpet in and its a perfect fit.

Hope this helps anyone else looking for a carpet for their Minnesota 4.

I got it from outdoorvalue.co.uk
