Thanks for this - (and sorry for not responding eariler!) you are the first person to have said this - so definitely another pause for thought. Maybe a kampa dream xl bed (or a n other) + wide SIM is the way to go after all??? Its hard to choose when all i have experienced is an airbed !
I was looking at the Kampa Dream XL. One each for me and the wife and it appears to be a very good bed, but be aware that it is 205cm long and 78cm wide. Two of these side by side take up a lot of room in a sleeping pod which is why I am now considering the Kampa Dream standard size.
