We have just bought an outwell posadas double after another aerobed fail.

My question is does anyone use a mattress topper on their camp bed, I know a lot of people use sims but I want to save a few quid and secondly it will be easier to pack.

Here is the one I am looking at

We havent got one at the moment but was thinking of getting one for camping..your choice looks lovely..wonder how small it will fold up thats my only concern. Trying to cram everything in the car is a problem..I think this topper looks great for the money..if you get it let us know how comfy it is ect..Mmmmm..definatly food for thought.

Camping Tip #26: In an emergency, a drawstring from a parka hood can be used to strangle a snoring tent friend...or husband!!

What I have done before is put a cheap double duvet onto of the air bed, then put a fitted sheet over the whole thing. Was very comfy and warm. Has anyone ever done something similar? And to pack away we used those bags that you can attach a Hoover too but just used the electric pimp on deflate to suck all the air out! No problem packing!
