My adult son is now too heavy for us to lift in and out of our Pennine Camper, we are going to have to relegate him to sleeping in the awning.

Does anyone else have this problem? We need something high and wide so I can get him dressed; I'm prepared to kneel on the floor but I need width. We need something that isn't going to deflate under him in the middle of the night as well.

Any ideas greatly appreciated otherwise he can't come on holiday any more.

Hi N.Romeo

We tested out Kampa Dream XL which are longer and wider than the average camp bed. It is really long and I found it wide - but I'm not sure how wide you need.

Here are its dimensions:
Size: L205 x W78.5 x H51 cm

You can view it here:

All the best, hope you can find a good solution so your son can continue to camp too.

Many thanks mapletree I will convert your measurements to English (don't do metric) and see how wide it is.
