It may be worth fixing some means of pegging down (an eyelet on the bottom of each "leg"?) so that it can secured if on a "wonky" field..?

..also it may be worth looking a some means of retaining the grill mesh in place so it doesn't slid about when cooking of it...?(..some grooves in the top of the legs?... )

pepe - We plan to use it on top of table so wobbliness shouldn't be a problem.

It's hard to tell from the picture but there are v shaped slots in the tops of the legs that the bars sit in. It can still slide back and forth but not side to side.

Hopefully we're testing it out next week in Norfolk.

I hope I didn't come over as "critical", as that wasn't my intention ..

It's just that I had in mind the hassle we have with our griddle plate skidding about  on our gas stove..and the umpteen occasions that I've nearly lost the breakfast on the floor... 

Let's hope for good weather for the trials....
