I have tried most of the lights but just wondering if there is a light out there that is bright,and gives a nice ambient feel, the most lights i have tried are only 40 watt and feels very depressing.and dim
When using ehu use the Outwell Merope electric light with a philips 8w energy saving genie bulb - although I belive this bulb is quivalent to a 40watt we are impressed by the light given out and its bright enough to read under.
When we havent got EHU we use the Ring Vega Cybalite (from Amazon) which also gives out a lovely bright light and has lots of positive reviews.

Our Outwell Castor central pendant light takes an economy bulb equivalent to a 40w and does reasonably OK, but we supplement it with another 40w table lamp, and battery LED light over the clothes cupboard.
Both beds have the same battery lights too.
