Hi, we are thinking about booking on Camping Le Sylvemar nr Biarritz and we usually hire a fridge from the campsite but this campsite doesn't hire fridges. Any ideas for alternative places to hire fridges for a week or 2, or buying one from a retailer (we normally pay about €60 for ten days or so).
Thanks
Cheapest way of having a good fridge would be to buy a small domestic table top fridge about £70 from Argos & take it with you. You could buy a similar fridge when you get there but it would probably cost more & it would have a French plug so you would need to take an adaptor to plug into your UK 3pin ehu unit. Having bought it you would have to bring it home with you so it would be easier to take a fridge with you.
Hi, We offer caravan and camping equipment hire in
Newquay Cornwall, inc Fridge and freezer hire, visit our website.. www.newquayhire.co.uk
why not pre book for your 2016 holiday.
Might be worth posting on the 'camping abroad' forum too.
We hire from the campsite if in France (use own cool box if in England). A fridge is a necessity for us - not to mention cold beer, cool water and ice creams.
Hope someone is able to help with details of a hire company.
Have you tried contacting a local campsite (to the French one you've booked) to see if they would hire to you. Let's face it, it is money for them.
