hi all...cn anyone please tell me which bag is the warmist..the hi gear 350 summit or the mammut 400 Montana..i have the summit 350 bag but like the look of the go outdoors mammut 400 montana..if anyone can put me right im looking to purchase it tomorrow..thanks..stewey6

In my experience High Gear is budget kit whilst Mammut is quality gear. Is the 400 Montana a 4 season bag.

Just had a look at Gooutdoors, it looks a really good bag and it is a 4 season.

If it was my money, it would be the Mammut every time.

Especially as it's cheaper than the North Ridge.

We have a couple of hybrid down & synthetic Mammuts - getting on for ten years old, used regularly and not a mark on them.

The others may be good too, but I only have experience with Mammut and recommend them highly.

Having said that, I think the sleeping bag makes less difference than a decent bed / mat - but if you've got a good mat, the Mammut gets my vote!

cheers all...I got mammut Montana 400 this morn..in trying it out I couldnt move as freely in it as the hi gear summit 350 bag I own ..so I took it back and got full refund..however I did buy a mammut inflatable pillow..a bit pricey but so comfortable and very small when deflated

Thats a pity, I prefer a bag like that myself..less empty air space to heat up. Also less weight if backpacking which is probably the market its aimed at.
