If the trailer has been converted from a trailer tent it will be old, possibly in poor condition & you will expect to pay a lot less than a 'proper' trailer. You may need to renew wheel bearings & tyres to make trailer reliable for towing at motorway speeds.
It would already have had a life as a trailer tent. When converted they will not be overhauled, tyres, hitch, bearings etc will be old and probably worn.
You could buy my 6 x 4 with new tyres, cover etc currently on ebay but it'll be too far for you.
I would image it's like any other second hand trailer if looked after, as above just check it over. Also check other local classifieds such as gumtree, preloved & Fridayads - I got my Caddy from the last one :).
The TT trailer will be plated, and that alone add value to it, as normally the Plate weight is above those of a similar sized trailer.
A neighbour owns a Tow Bar/ General Garage business, and when able to buys TT/FC's being sold for parts, at knock down prices, checks them over, before selling them on at 200/300% minimum profit as Trailers.
I recently bought a 1988 Conway FC, he gave it a once over for me, to insure it's in good running order. I paid £420 for it. The trailer alone is worth £250/£300.
I have a general purpose trailer 5x3 which I got off ebay for £40, but I had a 2 hour drive to go and collect it.
no idea much about the trailer tents as trailers but do also check supermarket for sale boards, we did and managed to get a Daxara 107 trailer for £50 and was pretty local to us as well.
