Showerfriend - Hassle free Push Button Showers? Do you hate push button showers which never seem to last long enough? This new gadget, the Showerfriend, may be the answer to hassle free showers.
I thought what a good idea and then realised that I like it when the shower goes off as that is when I cover myself in soap, or really rub the shampoo into my hair and then I turn it back on for rinsing

I just turn my back and lean .... cheaper! And don't have to fiddle with fitting/clipping/unclipping every time I want a shower.
And I don't have to fiddle with suction pads ... which probably won't work on all walls ... the pressure on them will be significant!
Agree with the leaning back technique, though I'm tall, which helps. We would need two gadgets as we go to the showers at the same time. And OH would probably leave his behind (like all the blocks of soap). And it won't solve the showers at Bunchrew which are pulse operated by a pull chain like an old-fashioned toilet - you get a good bicep workout there.
Is it just me thinking 'ewww' to the thought of all the bare backs/bums leaning against the shower button. I think I might invest in one of those shower friends now.........................
Found one someone had left in shower - damm thing was worse than useless as in those particular showers holding the button in does not keep the water flowing, it needs the button repressing to restart the water and with the 'shower friend' contraption it simply did not work. At a guess I would say it probably works in about 10% or less of showers to be found on campsites which could make it a fairly expensive ornament on most sites.

You must have exceptionally long legs ... or use showers for very little people ... for your buttocks to press the 'button' ... the skin in the middle of my back (lining up with the button) probably has less potentially harmfull bacteria than the average hand ... so is, in fact, more Hygenic!!
Im a scout- and need that hot shower in the morning before the little mights wake up- anythings worth a try-- and im too short to lean on the button- its normally about shoulder height! think theres a knack to attaching it though

Lol yes I suppose it is more likely to be a back. Must be chilly against those tiles though.
