Do they do kingsize mummy sleeping bags? I got a normal sized mummy sleeping bag but its a bit claustraphobic, just wondered if they do larger sleeping bags. Dont want a double just a large single.

Yes they come in all sizes, mine is 180cm x 90cms but not mummy type. Like you I hate to be restricted. Try Towsure 'www towsure,com. I'm sure you will find one to suit you. Sleep well

We have got kingsize sleeping bags, both mummy and envelope styles. I think they are about 90cm wide which is lovely and roomy! Bought them from Index but don't know if they still do them as we've had them for a couple of years now. I know Towsure sell kingsize sleeping bags though.

have a loo at www.canadiantyre.com they are as the name suggests in canada but as the people there tend to be of bigger proportions than us they are a lot bigger in the sleeping bags and great prices, we brought back a queen size sleeping bag for £25 and its a coleman one too, they will post forgot to mention you will have to use there post code to get on the site just type M8 number that they have on the screen. the exchange rate is about 2.3 to the pound

My OH had exactly this problem with mumy style bags. So last year he got a Vango Astra 350 - it has the hood on the top like a mumy bag, whihc is good for cutting out draughts but its 90cm across (rather than the usual 70cm) and it does not taper in. he was very pleased with it when we camped last summer. I know I have seen them at a bargain price somewhere -if I find it I will post on here.

Hey Volupturaptor im likeing the idea of the one in Index 100cm wide, the only bit i didnt like was the price tho £35. But i spose its worth it with the extra width.

The Vango Astral 350 also comes in a super size. Check out Wild day they are £30. Mr GW has one and it seems fine.

The Vango 350 Super seems to have the largest chest width i've seen (a huge 110cm compared to 80cm for a standard mummy bag). Luckily they sell them at PJcamping which isn't to far away from me. Will have to pop down there this Saturday b4 the England vs Northen Ireland kickoff.
