I most Certainly Recommend the Dual Fuel Stoves. I have a 533 (1 Burner), 424 (2 Burner) and a 426d (3 Burner) stove. They are all Excellent, and in my opinion perfectly safe, if treated with Care and respect that all Stoves Deserve. I never cook in the Tent with them, but work particularly well in Colder temperatures where Normal gas can struggle and Fail.
I almost always have my 533 with me, either in my Rucksack, Kayak, or simply in the Boot of my Car.
I can't recommend my 533 enough. I did by mine this time last year at amazon.com, and even with Shipping and Taxes it came in brand new at less than £40
hi johnny the picture wongers posted is a frightening reminder of just how tempermental these stoves are..iv had 2 of them in which both have since been returned to go outdoors because of them flaring up.. when it happens its scary.. the 2 I had the burners kept getting sooted up I consider myself a safe person when using them but they were uncontrollable and I didn't feel safe in the end using them...
I have a two-burner 424 as my main stove, as well as a 533 Sportster as a spare stove.

I have the 424 and the 533...Haven't used the 424 for a while....But use the 533 as my main stove(sometimes as backup to another stove) on backpacking trips...
Find a full stove and a fuel bottle holding 20 fl oz does me for 3 days...4 if I am careful just using the 533..
No signs of the dreaded flare up when using either of mine....
I also have the duek fuel single burner lamp as well which I use as a light outside the tent on dark nights...Fair old glow off that too,,,One filling in constant use lasts about 4hrs on average...
