Had been looking for absolutely ages for real heavyweight chairs, but have finally found a company that will ship to the UK for the US. Is a little pricey, Approx £85.00. but for that as you will see from the link, it gets you 2 chairs (that are tested up to 500lb) and a back-pack cooler bag.
Thought the same here, Bob.
Personally, I'd be wary of buying from such a distance, when it "appears" to be no better than what is available "locally".
The price seems good (not great, just good) for two chairs, with or without the bag, but imagine the hassle, should you need to ship one back, for whatever reason, which would no doubt be at your cost!

We've been quite happy with our Royal Commanders. Can usually pick them up somewhere around £30 - just keep checking the market. Here's a current one

Problem I have is that I weigh Approx 425lbs & the Royal Commander's Max Weight Limit is only 286lbs (130kg). the chairs I ordered are tested up to 500lbs (226kg).
Just wish they sold them in UK, as nearly half of my cost was in shipping and import duty, actual 2 chairs & backpack was only £54.00
I think That British suppliers should carry stock rated for large people like myself as there are a lot more like me that like to camp, that feel as if we are being dicriminated against. its not as if they are not made this big, just not sold in this country.
there was one company that dont trade anymore that I can see, made a folding chair that could hold up to 1500lbs:
