Hi, I am looking to replace my 3/4 porch awning for my caravan and would welcome recommendations from others. I would like a reasonably large one, big enough for a table and two chairs, lightweight but sturdy enough to take a bit of wind. Around the £200 £300 mark. Thanks for any replies.
Depends pm what style you would like but the Kampa Rally range will fit into that price bracket and come in size from 200cm to 390 cm long - all are 250cm deep and offer great internal usable space with fairly upright front sections unlike many of the cheaper lean to styles
Supposedly very sturdy as well In winds with attachable storm straps (haven;t tested ours yet!) and monsoon poles
Target price for a new 390 Rally should be around £260ish and the storm straps and monsoon poles and rear pole set should be around another £50. Smaller ones obviously cheaper
Another vote for kampa rally, had some really strong winds and rain over new year and the following weekend. We have the 260 plus and it stood up to the weather extremely well. That was without storm straps as we couldn't find them turns out we had left them at home. Awning was pegged down well in not so great ground, it was certainly tested well. We have the rear poles, wouldn't be without them. I'm not sure if these might have added to the stability.
