We'd like to get a motor mover fitted and wondered if anyone has any recommendations for good movers.
I've been looking at PowerTouch which look good. Can see a big difference in price between the classic and evolution models - not sure if the evolution is worth the extra money or if there are better options out there?
We have powrwheel HD on our Adria and its been great. Fitted it myself in 3 hours and haven't had an issue since. Very strong, even use it to drive up the levelling ramps
Another vote for the Powrtouch HD..if you get it fitted they give 5 year parts and labour. If you fit it yourself I think they give 5 years parts only, or at least it was when I bought mine last year.
------------- It is a wise man who has something to say.
It is a fool who has to say something.
I originally fitted an Purpleline Enduro which i had it on two vans over a six year period and it performed with no problems.I have just purchased a new van in the last year and have fitted a Powrtouch HD on this as it was the same price as the Purpleline fitting myself but has a selection of 4 speed levels on the controller remote, which is excellent in tight spaces and would thoroughly recommend it.
Is the manual engagement easy or is it worth investing in the automatic engagement version. I just watched some videos online and the powertouch does look excellent - just couldn't work out the engagement
I personally would not pay extra for evolution or any auto engagement, being an engineer my policy is if it does the job, keep it simple, as there is less to go wrong.
We had the argument
Hyno on our old van and we're not happy with it so on our new van are having the powrtouch evolution awd auto .... As it is a twin axle. You really do get what you pay for and the powrtouch reviews are brill.
