They are both cheap and warm, the foil backing keeps the cold out ( but don't quote me on that me old mucker). Sounds feasible to me, sir, but if you check my posting history (I wouldn't if I were you!), you'll find that not only am I no scientist, I'm barred from discussing anything foil related, too!
