If you do the camp bed plus sim combo, does it feel stable?
I've tried them out in shops, and although I'm a very curvy girl, I'm not as heavy as many normal blokes, and they feel really wobbly and unstable to me. Just not sure how it would work out if I turned over in the middle of the night!
But then, I'm very short and near the ground anyway, so sleeping on an air bed or sim on the floor doesn't really bother me. :)
Not sure what you were trying out, Rach, but we just got run of the mill, average beds, at average price, from GO and they've been as solid as, erm... a very comfortable, 6' long, flat rock!!
Can't comment on other makes/models though, as these are the only ones we've ever used.... and have had no need to look into getting others!
If anything is gonna move, it's the SIM, not the bed, imo.
We use a doctored fitted (elasticated) sheet for that, so another possible niggle is thus avoided.
