I have a Vango Dart 300 DLX it is supposed to sleep 3 but I will using it solo does anyone know if you can fit a fishing bed in as I have heard it is the most comfortable sleep. Also do you need a SIM with it?
It depends upon the length of the bed, they are made in various sizes.
I assume you know the length available in the tent, or can determine it from the internet.
As Bernie says these vary in size from small to XL you also have to take into account the height of the bed as a tent gets smaller the further it is above ground so dont go by the floor plan of the tent. As for needing a SIM on top no you shouldnt really I dont use one on top when I go fishing but then I have a decent quality bed. I dont use it for camping as it takes up too much room

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
hi my fishing bed used to fit in my vango ark 400 .. I dunno what the exact size of the tent was but the beds about 6.00 ft also im unsure how big your vango dart tent is
Got my bed in a Vango Halo 300 for a one nighter last year...had to have the head section raised slightly so it did not touch the inner tent....The tent being a Dome shape meant I had plenty of head room...
Wee tip that might not have occurred to you....If and when you try the bed in your tent....Take it inside the tent folded and erect it...easier to get it through the small doors on these tents if you do...Some forget that and erect the bed outside....

I had a friend who was very pleased with themselves for having a camp bed and not having to sleep on the floor. They erected their tiny little tent and then put the bed in, which stuck out the end of the tent by about 6 inches!

One of the reasons I advocate taking a tape measure and a basic idea of how big your gear is..When going to view a new tent you fancy....In amongst all the excitement of viewing/buying etc...Its good to have a wee measure up with the tape...Saves a lot of costly mistakes at time of buying...And in the future when considering beds etc...

There are some fishing bedchairs with shorter legs that are lower to the ground, called STEALTH when they came out. Terry Hearn endorsed them IIRC. They are far lower than normal and might suit you better in a smaller sleeping pod. Check ebay
