I intend to visit as many caravan touring sites as I can this year so I can make a decision on which site to choose for a season pitch next year.

So for this reason I am considering buying a mains water adapter to fit the aquaroll for auto filling for use on superpitch sites.

Then I came across an Aqua source tap to caravan water mains adapter thereby no need to use the aquaroll.

Has anyone any experience with this system?
Will the caravan water system cope with the mains pressure?
What would be your advise?

Yes, the water pressure almost blew off the cold water pipe in the shower, luckily i spotted the leak in the shower tray before the pipe come off,
If you are going to use direct mains water check to see if it has a good quality pressure reducer.
I use a small central heating header tank with a torbek valve (app £7) fitted.

Thank you Bob I did look for a previous thread but couldn't find one. I am new to this.

Thank you alpiner I think I will go for this method rather than direct connection. Couldn't bare the though of a flood if I buy a new(ish) van.

I have the direct connection but never used it. The leaflet with it recommends disconnecting or switching off the water when going away from the unit. I think I would also disconnect when going to bed

Hi there, we have the constant water supply which connects to the Aqua Roll. We love it. I had read of people encountering problems with the direct to the van type so I didn't bother just to be on the safe side. Good luck.

Go for the safest option of auto-fill of aquaroll, same result of constant water and no problems if there is a leak, it will flood outside the van instead of inside.

Thanks everyone. Have decided to go for the safest option. Have just bought a float valve and a flat hose pipe. The kind that you can still use without unrolling it all from the reel. Hope it works ok.
